In the Phi-Ion treatment, tiny points are placed along the tension lines of the skin with the Phi-Ion Pen. This process triggers an immediate contraction and tightening of the skin fibers, creating a smoothing, remodeling and rejuvenating effect. Here, the Phi-Ion Pen makes use of the plasma state of matter. The principle involves the ionization of gases from the air to produce a microelectric discharge that causes sublimation of the excess/slackened superficial layer of the skin.
